Referral
Referral to Sunrise is made through the
following agencies: Vocational Rehabilitation, Mental Health, Social Security,
private rehabilitation companies, insurance companies and other recognized agencies.
Admission decisions are carefully made, based on established criteria. An interview
is held and then medical and psychological documents are examined.
Decisions are based on the need and the benefits
possible to the trainee. The minimum age for a trainee is 18.
Work Programs
Work experience comprises the basic training tool!
It is also an excellent therapy for most disabilities. Work experience facilitates
the desire for self-support and independence. All employees are paid on the basis of
their individual productivity. Productivity is determined by comparing output with an
average worker in private industry, doing the same or similar work.
