Our History
Sunrise Enterprises was incorporated in 1972 as a private 501(C)(3) non-profit corporation. It operates in Douglas County, Oregon, and was established to provide a vocational training program that assists persons with disabilities in developing to their highest potential and achieving fulfilling lives.
Our Mission
The purpose of Sunrise Enterprises is to assist persons with disabilities to access meaningful employment opportunities and achieve self-fulfilling lives.
Our Principles
- To vocationally train and habilitate the consumers we serve to the best of our ability.
Training and rehabilitation to include:
- Ultimate placement in the community.
- Movement within the organization to the highest level the consumer can reach.
- Real work (work that is sold to the customer) as the tool as much as possible.
- To deliver on-time, quality products at a fair and equitable price to the customer and corporation.
- To provide the safest tools and working conditions that the corporation can secure.
- To provide services to every consumer fairly, equally, and to the best of our abilities.
- To provide services to all agencies and customers fairly, equally, and to the best of our abilities.
